    Reported by:

My daughter and her favorite chicken. She likes to sit in the yard when the chickens are out grazing and put feed on her feet and let the birds peck it off because it tickles :) We keep chickens to provide us with eggs, but my children have turned several of them into true 'pets'. They come up to my daughter mostly when she is out in the yard and just want to hang around her. She can hold them and they seem to enjoy each other's company. It makes my heart smile. This is such a sweet moment Terra. I agree with Your Shot user Kathy Preuit: "Love this one... love the chickens, the way your daughter has her hands cupped, the way the sun shines on her foot with the feed on it!"
