    Reported by:

After a few days in Venice we kept unconsciously gravitating towards the usual tourists paths, trodden by thousands of people every day. In an effort to find something new we actually used a map to get ourselves "lost" and explore a new, more personal side of the city - and I am so glad we did. As we rounded a corner we were met by this beautiful scene; a young girl dancing with a red scarf in between the tall buildings and below a canopy of colour, provided by the drying clothes.

This scene caught my eye because it's not something you see every day. It seems as if we're peering in to a private moment, which makes this otherwise ordinary street scene more intimate. The colors and movement of the girl bring this alley to life, a nice moment to capture!
