I scuba dive every week-end all year round, along the coast of Tuscany, Italy. I created this shot some year ago in Elba island, to express the intense emotion of each new embrace with the Mediterranean sea, the Mama of all people living around it. Diving into the water is like going back to amniotic peace and coming out at the end of the dive is like a new birth in the world of sounds and colours, then the photo could be looked at both from left to right and from rigth to left.

Omigosh. This is exquisite! Honestly...I am blown away by how dynamically you have captured the moment of immersion. I have no words, except to scream Eureka, way to capture displacement! It also reminds me of Ernest Shackleton, perhaps because I just a Broadway about him, but this is a great advertisement for an explorer!
