Celebrating life after it's gone and preserving the beauty of nature long after something has died is made possible by many nature centers and museums. I saw this grasshopper on display at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. I've never thought its wings would be so colorful and beautiful. This is a shot of the left pair of the grasshopper's wings. These are their natural colors.
