My favorite music festivals are the ones with an abundance of children and family. It brings a comfort and compassion to these events that I don't believe would exist otherwise. And is also a reminder that music is one of our greatest unifiers. I chose this image because this beautiful and lively family made me feel that comfort and compassion while I was far from my own tribe. My mother, my step-mother, my little half-sister - they inspire me. But it's healthy to know it can be found anywhere.

The layering in this image is really wonderful - it works all the way through, from the man and girl dancing in the front, to the boy looking back to the beautifully framed mother and daughter and finally the couple standing in the back. Add all the energy with hair flying and you have a fabulous image. Well done.
