    Reported by:

Mesmerizing sand art made by a retreating tide on the sandy beach in Ngapali Myanmar made especially dynamic by the setting sun's golden rays. It lived only for a small moment in time never to be repeated again as the next cycle of waves erased it forever. Felt like I was viewing images from a story from a J.R.R Tolkien book.

Image Time: 5:15 PM What is so striking about this image is the temporal sand rendering of an imaginary forest – a wonderful metaphor indeed. It’s fantastic that you captured this fleeting image before it washed away.
