This little friendly lizard visited my kitchen for two consecutive days and seemed to enjoy having his pic taken. It was the first time I could get that close to one for a nice shot, thanks to my new house guest.

Brilliant photo.  Love the effect of the short depth of field.  Has the look of a studio shot!

I really like the soft tones of this image and clarity in the eyes. Is this one of the Thai geckos that makes the noise that sounds exactly like its name?  "GEH-KOH"

As I scanned all the pics for today's DD, I had a hard time deciding whose to vote for!  This image of the gecko hit home for me, simply because I am somewhat infatuated with the subject matter because we get geckos in our house all the time!  The eyes are amazing--and you've captured them just right!  Nice going!

@Gwenda Cavanagh Thank you.  I was lucky enough that he liked my kitchen, where he posed on a white surface with white wall behind... the setting was just right.  ;-)

@Pei Ling Wu Thank you.  Just like you I enjoyed the company of these little friends in my house daily, but all too shy for a nice portrait photo.  ;-)
