We have three dogs; Markus (Siberian Husky), George (Toy Poodle) and Poochie (Chihuahua Mix). Among the three, Poochie is the most attached to my mom. They're of bestest friends. You can't seem to separate them around the house; might it be at the kitchen preparing meals, my parents room, living room watching TV, even the backyard tending to the plants. Here you see my mom and Poochie having a little talk by our dining window.

What makes this image compelling to me is the personalities of both the woman and her dog that come through the frame. You can almost hear the subjects speak to one another by reading the expressions on their faces. The soft glow of light coming from the back of the frame is also very nice and adds another dimension to the image.
