    Today at the Bridge Dirillo there is a shrine that is reminiscent of the Rangers 82 ^ Airborne Division who lost their lives, which, as stated in the commemorative stele "were men who gave birth to a new story in Europe." Thirty meters from the stelae are the so-called "pillbox" built by the Nazis who served to the division Livorno, to take the Bridge Dirillo after landing, however, that after the Nazis fled, leaving the defense of Italy Italians.
