Last night of a trip to the Atacama Desert in Chile. Mosaic of 7 images. The night sky is a true wonder and proved to be of the utmost importance in our history. Our future lies over there too probably... It's a shame that not much effort is made around the world to promote the conservation of these amazing sights. Looking more often at the stars always sparks profound thoughts about our place in all this Universe. It is by far the best TV out there!

    Incomparably beautiful.

I would love to be under these constellations someday.

Beautiful. How do people feel when they look at skies like these

Magnificent capture.  How fortunate to be able to see, let alone photograph, such a beautiful sight!

@J. Martel @L. Malone Well worth 2 hours in my opinion. Do you use more than one camera to get this shot? Ive be wanting to try this myself but don't know how lol.

@James Menzies @J. Martel@L. Malonereally easy! Just put your camera on a sturdy tripod, get a wide angle lens ( I like my 14mm Rokinon and its dirt cheap), eyeball the point of overlap in your panorama ( get at least 30% overlap for better integration) and shoot. Then it's stiched together in photoshop. This one was shot in portrait orientation to get the height. (The milky way was above my head)
