December 2013. For me this photograph is more emotional than it may seem. I am in the military and since my enlistment I can only visit my home city. The horizon is no longer what it was when I left since the towers came down. New York City is also the place where I was last young/naive. I can still remember my mother crying on my last day in New York. I asked her why she was crying, she said "because from now on you will only visit, you will not live in our home"
