Corralled next to the horses, rodeo cowboys relax on a summer Saturday evening as they wait for their events to begin. Pictures of bravado youth, many young men fail to complete a full rodeo season due to varying degrees of injury each year.

    Story 2

Beautiful evening light and a great chance to get to know the players at the rodeo before the evening begins. I love this frame, the "from above" angle hear really shows the scene in a way you couldn't from the ground. I love the way all the cowboys resting, and the horses appear to be conspiring. Great light, great framing, great moment.
