    A juvenile Humpback Whale beached itself in East Hampton Village. On the second day I visited the scene and twice in one minute the 30 foot whale raised its head and tail in what seemed to be a desperate attempt to make it back to sea. Officials from NOAA tried several attempts at euthanasia, but
