    As a kid I was petrified of the dark and shadows especially at night ...I remember checking under my bed every night and having my mother looking into the closet before she would close the door of my room and turn off the light reassuring me that every is ok , no shadow monsters in sight . Even now , when walking in dark unknown places I feel a bit uncomfortable...

    Nice. I appreciate how you have thought about this, understood the title of the assignment and composed such an image that captivates the essence of fear through shadows and monsters. I particularly like the spaces between the fingers. They help emphasize the fear and suspense that what lies beyond the door. It really works - well done.
