Biei, a tiny town located in the northernmost island of Japan - Hokkaido is an addiction for me. That is one of the places where you can experience solitude in an environment so inviting yet so rough. Winters are extremely cold in Biei and I appreciated the effort put in by this painter for a moment of solitude combined with his art. That was a great moment and I could hardly stay out of the car for few minutes when he probably spent hours working on his painting.

Burcu, I would thank Your Shot photographer Rogelio Moreno for advising you to add more to your caption because the extra detail helped me understand what I am looking at, which made love your photo even more. I love how the lone painter is outside in the cold, having a creative and quiet moment. Your photo feels cold, and your description validates my assumptions.
