    Reported by:

The project PII (proximity to the isolated elderly), is a project that aims to combat the loneliness of the elderly living in isolated villages of the county of Valpaços. The interior of the country is desertified, there are villages with 10 or fewer people being these elderly people, with no family back. A group of young people regularly visit these elderly people to help. They are like family. This girl volunteer is a real hero.

A really nice image of a tender moment and an unsung hero at work. The light coming through the window takes it to another level. Thank you for sharing and celebrating the work this young woman does.
