We travel, some of us forever, to seek other states, other lives, other souls - Anaïs Nin. The open road is like a great affair of the heart and the journey like the pages of a book. Marcel Proust’s words always come to mind when on my odyssey and seeing everything with new eyes from the sky, the sea to dreams - of not waiting for life and not longing for it, but to ‘be aware, always and at every moment, that the miracle is in the here and now.’ On the road -from Urban reverie/Paris (Ricoh 28mm)

Lara, this image is fantastic. It feels like it's from the 1940's, I really enjoy the little bit of grit/noise to the image, it feels like film. I appreciate that I can only see the subject's arm in the reflection, it's as if it's my arm, that I'm the one taking this image. Thank you for a gorgeous photograph and such a thoughtful caption to go with it. I think you nailed it on this assignment.
