Edit Photo Details Laos, land of a million elephants   #wildlife #elephant #luang_prabang #laos
A rescued logging elephant in Northern Laos and the moment when Anna says good bye. We are facing the prospect of elephants becoming extinct in a few generations. The consigning of these beautiful and magnificent creatures to history would be a tragic loss to wildlife and to our planet.

I agree with Your Shot photographer Lara Kantardjian: "Beautiful image and words Gloria. I love that you took this so close — you can feel everything about this moment. It draws you in and captures our heart. The touch of the hands resonates with us who are in turn touched by the immense beauty and message conveyed. Congrats on this very fine and special photo."
