    It is every photographer's dream to witness a whale breaching. But to have a whale come up literally from under your raft, OMG! This was a perfect Kodak moment, love the expressions of the people on the boat. Their reaction was so priceless that I almost forgot to focus on the whale. Overall Antartica was a revelation, so much to experience and absorb, it is good to have the midnight sun to extend your hours since there is simply not enough time to take it all in! Must do bucket list destination

    I think my favorite part of this photograph is the travelers' reactions. Some are quick to snap a photo, others are in awe, one woman even seems to be looking back at you with pure joy. You captured a great moment here experiencing wildlife so intimately. Well done!
