The village people don't have the opportunity for electricity. As a result they suffered a lot under the darkness of night. But they always try to remove the fear of darkness with their courage and with small light of hope. I made this shot in a rural village of Bangladesh when a villager tried to remove the darkness with a small lighting source.

Vey well composed. This photograph offers a great light, a warm light of hope along with good drama and a great composition. I particularly like the cloak that hangs off the figure and the lantern that sways back and too, as the villager walks by. There is also a great level of mystery that pierces through the fog. The scene is limited but only for those who lack imagination. I love it - great frame.
