Elephants are wild,we all know but they are tamed sometimes for tough works,to show power by the royal people etc.In Sonepur cattle fair I found dozens of tamed elephants being sold by businessmen.The elephants are bathed , decorated,feed well ,but are always chained .They have limited freedom.They will get everything except the loosening of the naught of the rope, they are tied with.
