Deadvlei, Namibia
This was my first visit to Sub-Saharan Africa - a trip from Cape Town to Livingstone in 2009. I desperately wanted to visit Namibia to see the red dunes in the Namib-Naukluft National Park and the stark blackened trees in Deadvlei. This series of photos was taken sunrise through to mid-morning. As they are old photos, I've done some minor tweaks to sharpness & contrast with Lightroom, but nothing that changes the character of these images.
