I feed a colony of wild feral cats. This mama was a little friendly and when I saw she was due, I picked her up and put her in a carrier so she could have her babies in safety. I have picked up too many dead kittens off the road and I wanted her babies to have a chance at life. They were all born on May 1st - I awoke to the tiny cries of kittens. They were born in a dog carrier in my bathroom and this was their sanctuary till they were adopted.
