This magnificent black-cockatoo is a Carnaby's Black-cockatoo and is one of the 3 endangered black-cockatoo species in Western Australia. They are at risk due to habitat destruction and farmers shootings, among other things. It is hard to imagine anyone wanting to kill such a beautiful, iconic bird.
