I work in the rainforest trying to save frogs from extinction, including this Mossy Red-eyed Frog (Duellmanohyla soralia). This endangered species is at risk of extinction due to a global disease event caused by the spread of chytrid fungus. This fungus is killing frogs around the world, even in the pristine rainforest of Cusuco National Park, Honduras, where I found this beautiful creature.
