Why we love our dog? We weren’t able to give our daughter, Caroline, a sibling, so we gave her a dog, and really, Dancer is like a sister to my daughter. The two of them ate, slept and played together every day, and if they could have, they would have gone to school together. Caroline is a freshman this year in an out of state college, and every morning Dancer looks for her, sometimes whimpering. When we Skype on Fridays, the whole pack is together again…..and Dancer talks too. She is family.

I agree with Your Shot user Kathy Preuit: "Beautiful shot Elizabeth, and a heart-warming story too. I absolutely love the way Dancer is backlit by the sun!"
