Edit Photo Details Respect: Lobster Traps   #maritime #lobstertraps #workingboats
When I started taking photographs again, one of the concepts that I wanted to convey was a certain respect for what I consider some of the hardest working people in the Ocean State, the fishermen. We go to restaurants and enjoy the "fruits de mer" (fruits of the sea), but every time we crack open a lobster claw or partake of a shucked shellfish, we may compliment the chef but it is also good to remember that somewhere there is a set of hardened, calloused set of hands that made that meal happen.
