    Cartagena, Colombia is a South American city of about one million citizens located on the Caribbean coast. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was founded in 1533 and named for Cartagena, Spain. Originally the name comes from ancient Carthage in Tunisia. Cartagena is a very tourist-friendly city.
