With Calvin's rare and progressive disease, we don't travel or vacation. It's too risky. Instead, we relish simple joys like playing in our backyard, outside hospital walls, together. Life is best lived simply.

    Story 1

This squirt gun fight between your children is such a classic kid's moment caught with a beautiful sun-kissed sky. Reading your caption regarding your son's health and that his disease limits your family's travels and time really made me see this photograph in a completely different way. It has given it depth, but not in a sad way so much. Rather, this image reminds me to be thankful for simple moments with loved ones, as they are never promised, nor is health. Thank you for that reminder today.
