    Edit Photo Details A Dark Night For the Thai People   #bangkok #grief #royalpalace #mourners #kingofthailand #bhumiboladulyadej #yourverticalworld
After a 9-hour wait, I was estatic like everyone else to be finally marching towards the Throne Hall to say my last farewell prayers before my King. It was a night like none other: filled with both profound sorrow and joy. The 9 hours of waiting was auspicious for our late King Rama the 9th and 9 is Thailand’s most auspicious number. Just before our designated group was led on our final walk, a lovely full moon rose above the Grand Palace. What a great gift from heaven on this precious night!
