I recently got to watch my husband fly at night. Watching him and several others circle around the beautiful star covered sky sure was an experience and I’m glad I get to share it with this photograph. The faint red line above the horizon is created by one of the jets flashing the F-18-typical three red strobes. The red bright light in the bottom center of the frame is the device that helps the pilot land safely and the swooping white line was created by the jet taking off again.
