When the sun comes out and flowers begin to open the insects are not far behind. I think this is a hoverfly on this flower. They are well-known pollinators of many flowers. These insects visit flowers looking for a snack of nectar or moisture they can lap up. Just by crawling over the flowers' reproductive parts pollen is picked up and carried to another flower part waiting to be fertilized.
