My wife was working part-time at Dena's Clothing Store in Saskatoon. Rachel Mielke (owner of Hillberg & Berk) was having a jewelry show, and my wife was asked to model some pieces. She was so very excited to be part of this, and I couldn't resist taking her portrait. Her smile and eyes sparkled more than the jewelry piece. I thought she really balanced the picture!
