The night before we went to Poon Hill, we trekked through hail and snow. Our guide said we most likely wouldn't see the himalayas at all in the morning, which was the one thing I truly wanted to experience. While we slept, the clouds dissipated somehow and we rushed up the mountain to see if we could see anything. My guide said we were blessed to experience this during such terrible weather; I believe this photo slightly captures that blessing.
