Charak Puja a Bengali festival
Charak Puja is a unique Bengali traditional (village folk) festival of West Bengal, India (also in Bangladesh). It is celebrated on "Chaitra Sankranti" , the last day of Chaitra Month in the Bengali Calendar (14th or 15th April), celebrated for bidding goodbye to the passing year wiping out all the sufferings and pains of the current year. Lord Shiba and Goddess Shakti are worshiped on the day of Charak Puja. I took this shot yesterday which is a part of this festival.
