A month after a devastating fire swept through over 30,000 acres of grasslands by Wilson Lake KS I had the opportunity to encounter this burned area with abundant regrowth of green grasses among the charred remains of woody plants, all providing evidence of the amazing restorative powers of nature. The blue sky with fluffy white cloud and birds in the distance added elements of beauty.
