    This female green sea turtle was stranded at low tide on our local beach after laying her eggs. With the tide not due to come in for another 6 hours, we stayed with her pouring buckets of water on her to keep her cool in the blazing sun. Upon the high tide she gradually made it out to deeper water safely. It was an absolute honour to be up close to one of these majestic creatures.
