    Edit Photo Details DONDI - A ritual to reach divinity   #india #people #travel #place #bengal #faith #kolkata #ritual #dondi
DONDI is a ritual performed on the day of Shitala Puja by Hindu men and women of West Bengal. They believe that the abode of the Lordship is one’s mind. To explore such inner spirit, they perform such perilous ritual on inflexible roads and under scorching sun. Still they are unyielding in their beliefs and try to explore the good inside. Their belief, that they can reach divinity in this way, is the most precious gift of life to humankind, which helps us to excel in every sphere of existence.
