    Carpenter bee flying to the next snack, as seen through an old lens on a warm April day. Harsh mid-day light, old manual lens, and inexpensive dslr body that cannot meter the lens, combined with wanting to see things from the bee's perspective resulted in this image. I found the combination of focus and blur to work here and ran with it.
