This picture has been taken on my second trekking day, while I was making my way up to the Salkantay pass at 4800m of altitude in Peru. The man on this picture was our cook. A man in his 50 who works on this andean trekking road for 11 years. He trekked the steepy slippery path in a cold foggy early morning in his sandals and carrying his belongings whilst showing us all is feasible and sharing his endless joy in life. When I look at this picture his smile and his bravour is what remains.
