Thirty years ago, my older brother gave me the most beautiful gift...the gift of Longevity through being my bone marrow donor. He was 9 years old and incredibly brave as the procedure in 1987 involved surgery where they removed some of his hip bone. I am thankful that my brother has given me 30 more years of life. Years to travel, fall in love, give back through my work and most important of all, become a mother. The crane symbolizes longevity and gold symbolizes childhood cancer.
