    Visitors observing the bullet marks (boxed with white outline) on the walls of Jallianwala Bagh. On 13 April 1919, a crowd of nonviolent protestors was fired upon for about 10 minutes by troops of the British Indian Army leaving 370 dead and ~1200 wounded. The number of dead in the well inside the 7 acres walled garden is placed at over 1000.
