    My uncle had just passed away a couple days before this photo was taken. I went to stay with my grandfather because he was taking it really hard. One of his biggest fears was realized, he had to burry and say good bye to one of his children. I often found him staring off into space, thinking. The whole week was trying for him and the rest of the family, but he got through it and so did the rest of the family. Everyone was there for each other.

    I love how you included the table; this perspective makes me feel like I am sitting at the table with your grandfather. I feel his sadness; I feel like I am watching him as you "often found him staring off into space, thinking." I find myself wanting to give your grandfather a hug.
