My oldest daughter is recovering from an intense battle against a tumor in her brain. That year of fighting was one of the hardest things our family has ever been through. The animals were a constant source of love and loyalty. Thanks to them, we continued to feel warmth and even enjoyed laughter in the darkest of times. They got us through it all and continue to be the best therapy as we get back to "normal" life.
