The impact of oil spills on the ecosystem can be severe. Plants & animals are killed within a short time after the spill occurs. Big oil spills get worldwide attention, but small oil leakage from cars is neglected. The leaked oil is soaked in the soil, washed away to rivers & the ocean. There are millions of cars around world & the accumulation of this small pollution over the years is huge. There needs to be public awareness about this type of pollution.
