At this time, the two female black bears at the Ecomuseum animal sanctuary have been out of hibernation for less than two weeks. They will continue to gain more strength (and better balance) as their food consumption increases over the next few weeks. For now, short excursions with frequent rest breaks seem to be the order of the day - along with lots of fruits and vegetables twice a day!
