A friends saw this picture in my phone, which is a pic of a pic I found when clearing out old stuff. My friend asked me "when did you check out dogs?" and I smiled because it's not me, it's my mom about 25 years ago, first meeting the dog I grew up around (to the left). Mom/Dad got him a little while before I was born, so he was as natural to me as any other member of my family. He was my first friend and also my first sorrow when he past away on my birthday, april 25th sixteen years ago.
