Taken on an oddly mild January day in Glenveagh National Park, Donegal, Ireland, one of my favourite places on Earth, mainly for unspoilt views such as this. This fallen tree added a special kind of twisted symmetry, which against the glow from the sun in the background really gives the eye something to focus on.
