    ....is safe, but that's not what ships were built for. It was New Year's Eve in Norfolk, VA. The fireworks had not started quite yet. The city was alive and active. Just before midnight, the air fell silent and you could only hear the waves crashing against the port and boats. I turned around and saw this, knelt down, and it screamed, "step outside of your comfort zone." The world around us is meant for exploration and discovery and this image spoke to me to do just that this new year. Explore.
