The Pink Headgear
In Uttar Pradesh the traditional Pagari is a multi-purposes accessory. Although mostly used as a headgear, it can also serve as a pillow for a traveler or to strain muddy water from a pond. It’s made of a single, plain, unstitched strip of cloth which can vary in color and dimensions. Tradition has it that it indicates the wearer’s social class and caste: a mark of style and honor and the pride of the region (Agra City; Uttar Pradesh – India) Learn more @ https://fog.exposure.co/india
